Custom PCM Cooling Towels and T-Shirts: OEM Manufacturing Guide
A step-by-step OEM guide covering specifications, samples, branding, packaging and quality checks.
1. Prepare a clear brief
State whether you need a towel, T-shirt or coordinated range. Include target users, quantity, dimensions or size breakdown, colors, artwork, packaging and delivery requirements. Add the performance evidence your sales channel needs so the sample is developed toward an agreed purpose.
2. Agree on the material specification
Confirm fabric composition, weight, PCM integration method, transition range and care requirements. For towels, add dimensions and edge finishing. For T-shirts, approve garment measurements, seams and fit. Keep measured requirements distinct from marketing wording.
3. Review branding and packaging
Check artwork placement against the treated fabric and confirm that the decoration process is compatible with it. Review label space for preparation and care instructions. Choose packaging after testing the folded product so that package dimensions and presentation match the final item.
4. Approve a complete sample
Inspect the finished product rather than only a fabric swatch. Confirm color, pattern, dimensions, stitching, label and packaging. Review performance and washing results against the agreed method. Resolve deviations in writing and retain an approved reference sample before production.
5. Confirm quotation and quality controls
MOQ, sampling costs and production timing depend on the specification and customization. Request a quotation with the size and color breakdown rather than assuming a fixed MOQ. Agree on inspection points, tolerances and carton packing, then compare production samples with the approved reference.
6. Keep repeat orders consistent
Record the approved fabric, artwork revision, care instructions and packaging files. If the material or manufacturing process changes, review its effect before reusing previous performance claims. This makes future orders easier to inspect and explain to distributors.
