How to Build a Cooling Towel Product Line for Your Market
Building a cooling towel product line is different from buying one towel style. A product line should cover different customer needs while staying simple enough to manage. The best starting point is to divide products by use: sports, workwear, promotional, pet and retail private label.
Start with one core product
Most buyers should start with one reliable core cooling towel. This can be a PVA towel in a popular size and two or three colors, or a microfiber cooling towel with tube packaging. The core item becomes the base for repeat orders.
Add products by market need
- Sports line: lightweight towels, bright colors and logo options.
- Workwear line: cooling towels, hard hat pads and neck shades.
- Pet line: dog cooling coats and pet drying/cooling towels.
- Retail line: tube packaging, color boxes and private label labels.
Control SKU complexity
Too many colors, sizes and packages can make the first order difficult. A practical product line may begin with 3-5 SKUs, then expand after sales data shows which products move fastest.
Use packaging to separate levels
The same towel can be sold as a budget promotional item with simple packaging or as a retail product with tube packaging and a better label. Packaging helps create different price levels without changing the entire towel specification.
Plan for repeat orders
Keep approved samples, artwork files, color references and packing information for each SKU. A product line becomes valuable when repeat orders are easy and consistent.
